I picked these up for my aunt and mother a few weeks back. They’re actually a lot smaller than they look, about two bites at best. They were sort of disappointed by the tease, but I was all for it. I’m sort of at the “taste everything but finish nothing” phase of my life and just having a mini two bite cupcake is a nice little treat every once in a blue.
Picking flavors is tough at Baked By Melissa because everything looks so fucking good. There’s about ten different flavors available ranging from tie dye to cookies and cream. The top row are peanut butter cup cupcakes, the middle row is peanut butter and jelly and the bottom row are cookie dough. The box of 12 cost me $10. Cupcakes can often be dry and sometimes people are only about eating the frosted tops but these are moist through and through and you’ll definitely want “just one more” when you’re finished with your box. I liked the peanut butter cup best, followed closely by the cookie dough.
Check it out next time you’re in Soho but remember that’s it just a to go window so you’ll have to stuff yourself elsewhere
