I believe and lots of the hip hop community believes that the Juggaknots “Clear Blue Skies” is one of the most underrated albums of all time. Beyond that, the actual joint “Clear Blue Skies” is just so dope. Ridiculous, foreboding productions serves as the perfect backdrop for a young white male dating a young black female to learn that his father, who’s opinion the son respects, is a closet racist. Not only is the father a closet racist but his disdain for African Amercians is so severe that he is willing to disown his son if he doesn’t choose to end the relationship. When anyone talks about the best socially concious rap records, Clear Blue Skies not only always needs to be included in the conversation but should be what the conversation is about as well.
