One of the big reasons why I think that I loved hip hop music so much was because by listening to that music I was able to learn so much about other genres of music that I’m not sure I would have interacted with had I not been such a fan and student og hip hop music. This is a class example but not for the reasons that might be obvious to you. Everyone who hears this song and even flirted with hip hop knows that the sample was flipped in the ever popular Tupac song “Do For Love” that I think is whack. But all my friends and readers who didn’t just flirt with hop hop but fucked her and thought about putting a ring omn her finger know that about six or seven years before Tupac opened this sample up to the masses, Natural Element member “L-Swift” freaked it for real on the underground banger “How It’s Going Down” which opens up with the incredibly dope “This type of vibe you might kick back to, relax to, you and your homies puff a twenty sack too.…” That’s real hip hop and lets raise our glasses to Mr. Caldwell as well…..
