This is a great movie and at $4.99 it basically costs the same as I spend taking the train round trip to work every day. I really liked Good Will Hunting but this is my favorite Matt Damon/Ben Affleck of the bunch. This is one of those movies I can watch again and again and I’m surprised it took me so long to add to my DVD Collection.
Season Six, Part I of The Sopranos completes the entire series for me. The other television shows I have complete on DVD are The Wire, OZ, The Ali G Show, Rescue Me and I’m inching close on The Simpsons…..
This is when Max being a nut comes into play. This 25th anniversary chock full of features Blu-ray DVD isn’t supposed to come out until August 25th but somehow Best Buy secured the rights to exclusively release it early. I have bought Children Of The Corn on VHS, DVD, Special Edition DVD and now Blu-ray. The only way I can see purchasing it again is if it comes out in 3D which at some point I suspect it will. I love the shorty story by Stephen King and for me this has always been a terrifying time capsule mid 80′s horror movie. Fuck the chick in The Orphan and Michael Meyers…..Issac Chroner is the scariest kid in movie history and the look he gives in the diner window in the beginning of the film is the iciest grill I have ever seen. I don’t co-sign any of the sequels but I do think Children Of The Corn is a brilliant horror film.
