Soho Park (Burger Post #2)

It looked like a gimmick when it opened but after a few years I have to give Soho Park it’s due. Shake Shack it is not and I’m not really sure why they need a full liquor licsence but Soho Park is a nice spot to sit outside and grab a beer and a burger on a lazy weekend afternoon.

The burgers are a bit pricey ($8.50 with fries) add to that an old school fountain cherry coke for $3.50 and we’re talking about a $12 total without tax. The reason why I really have no beef with the price is because the burger really is that good (no pun intended.) It’s dressed simply enough with shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced pickles, tomatoes and a secret sauce and sits on a soft potato roll. Usually the fries are good but on this visit they were a little overcooked in a not so good away. Maybe they need to change their oil. Overall I think Soho Park is pretty soild and maybe one day i’ll shy away from the burger and see what else it is that they have to offer.
