You know Mase didn’t always preach, or rap like a clown, or go back and forth from the thug to minister, or get yelled at on hot 97 by a very angry Jim Jones. Murder Mase used to be ill and wrecked a few very special freestyle sessions on Stretch and Bob with defunct Harlem super group Children Of The Corn (Big L, Cam’ron, Herb McGruff, Mase and Bloodshed RIP) as well as the very slept on Niggaz Done Started Something featuring the pre Puffy LOX and DMX. I choose to hit you with something a little less heard or at least discussed, this is a joint called ‘Drug Wars’ I got off of a Murder Mase Collection CD. This highlights the way Mase used to rap and God damn it, he had a pretty dope style. Peep it out and let me know what you think as well.
